Il Museo vivo della memoria ripercorre l’esperienza della Seconda guerra mondiale. Il percorso espositivo, articolato in diverse sale, ricostruisce gli eventi bellici a partire dalle testimonianze dirette di quanti vissero da protagonisti le vicende di quei terribili mesi fra il settembre 1943 e il maggio 1944. Una “guerra in casa” che cambiò, a volte per sempre, la vita degli abitanti. Il Museo, attraverso testimonianze audio e video, oggetti e cimeli spontaneamente donati dalla popolazione, rivive le fasi salienti della guerra sul Monte Cairo.
The Living Memory Museum retraces the experiences of World War II. The exhibition, organized across several rooms, reconstructs wartime events through the direct testimonies of those who lived through the terrible months between September 1943 and May 1944. This “war at home” profoundly changed the lives of the local population, sometimes forever.
The museum brings these experiences to life through audio and video recordings, as well as objects and memorabilia generously donated by the community, highlighting the key moments of the war on Monte Cairo.
